This sculpture will be exhibited in GoodSpaces Istanbul between the dates February 10 - November 10, 2022.
Made of aluminum and paint, each part is 110 x 110 x 110cm, this two parts sculpture is representational dice-rolling is an ode to Istanbul’s orthodox and/or muslim architecture.
This NFT guarantees the ownership of the physical sculpture to be delivered to the owner’s address within Turkey at the end of mentioned time. Within this period, 5% of the initial sale and half of the creators fee from the resale transactions will be transferred to WWF-Turkiye wallet.
Dilara Akay
Born 1963, graduated from Bosphorus University. She lives and works in Göcek, Dalaman, Türkiye.
Akay has an interdisciplinary practice including sculpture, photography and installations. She experiments with “sculpture in the expanded field” by which she facilitates performances / social gatherings around or about an installation / place.
In 2019 she created “Dilara Akay Sculpture Garden”; a public space for her work inviting people from Göcek and beyond. Akay is an ambassador of WWF-Türkiye.
How to Own
